J. D. Charlot, 25, is a National Evangelist who operates in a dynamic and electrifying style of ministry, which has a mixture of biblical scholarship, with an old time Pentecost Anointing. He possesses an unusual in-depth understanding of the Holy Word of God and is able to effectively exegete the meaning a biblical text had for its original hearers into the application it has for believers of this time and culture.
Born in Houston, Texas, Elder Charlot began preaching at the age of 5. He was trained and received Local License in the Church of God in Christ, located there in his hometown. He received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues at the age of 10.
When he heard the Truth about the Oneness of God and Jesus Name Baptism…Bro. Charlot was baptized in Jesus Name according to Acts 2:38 at 12 years old. This experience transformed his life from then on. He united with and served the Original Glorious Apostolic Churches for nearly 12 years

In 2007, he relocated to the Central Texas area and united with the First Apostolic Church of Lockhart, Texas. Upon the recommendation of it’s Board of Ministry & Bishops, the late, Dr. Lanier Byrd and Dr. Deborah Byrd, Bro. Charlot was Ordained under its charter, The Apostolic Doctrine of Jesus Christ, Inc. He is currently an Ordained Elder in good standing with the Apostolic Assemblies of Christ, Inc. of Detroit, MI.
With a ministry career totaling to 20 years in 2012, J. D. Charlot has developed to be a true Man of God called to preach, minister, and prophesy to a dying world in these last and evil days. His Churchmanship exceeds far beyond his local assembly, Rev. Charlot is also a National Evangelist with a Prophetic charge and for the past 20 years, he has served churches of almost every Denomination/Creed.
